Penny tiles add some extra texture for kitchen designs. Variegated colors of tiles enhance effect. A white penny tile looks especially nice with blonde cabinets in kitchen. If you feel daring, you can try white tiles and dark grout. Use only a penny an accent tiles for a backsplash tiles away. And for something completely different: cover a whole penny with granite tiles. I love detail where coved backsplash meets countertop – this is a bit high maintenance, but really lovely.
